Carl Edwards won the 9th Annual SUBWAY Fresh Fit 500, his 20th victory in 303 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races.
This is his first victory and first top-10 finish in 2013.He brakes a 70-race winless streak that matched the longest of his career – 70 races that ended in November 2010 at Phoenix International Raceway. This is his second victory and 11th top-10 finish in 18 races at Phoenix International Raceway.
Jimmie Johnson (second) posted his 16th top-10 finish in 20 races at Phoenix International Raceway.
It is his second top-10 finish in 2013. Denny Hamlin (third) posted his ninth top-10 finish in 16 races at Phoenix International Raceway. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. (16th) was the highest finishing rookie. Jimmie Johnson leads the point standings by 8 points over Dale Earnhardt Jr.
